“Rêverie”, the Fall – Winter 23-24 collection lights up Villa Medici

Kaleidoscopic prints, bold and intense nuances; these are the defining traits of the new Fall Winter 2023-2024 collection by Society Limonta. The collection “Rêverie” is an ode to daydreaming and was presented at Villa Medici, the Renaissance palace recently redecorated with the polychromatic touch of architect and designer India Mahdavi.

The strong nuances of  Fucsia and Smeraldo, alongside the more intense colours Ultraviola, Alga and Mou, revitalised the historic rooms of one of the most important academic institutions in Rome.

For the bedroom, Society presents the new sheet CUPO, named after the fil coupé technique which creates a small fringe. Also new for this season, OVER duvet covers and pillowcases in soft percale garment-dyed cotton feature a contrasting stitching. The printed ramié pillowcases reinterpret patterns from the historic Limonta’s archives. Two new throws bring cosiness to the winter nights: VUPI is made of knitted wool and alpaca which create a chevron antique pattern; PHIL, in soft wool with a pattern of yarn-dyed stripes, has a bouclé finishing, ideal for creating layers at the end of the bed.

New linen cushions decorate the living room with traditional floral designs, geometric or playful patterns. The intense and wintery seasonal colours seep through VELVET, the decorative cushions made of a velvet blend of silk and viscose, and the bouclé alpaca yarns of MULTI throw.

Abaca, lightweight, resistant and transparent, is the fibre of choice for the printed tablecloths. Printed ramié or percale OVER cotton napkins decorate the table with four new prints.

New for the bathroom are NINHO towels, in waffle weave cotton, along with the new bath mats GREQ and DOUX.

The scarves in pure cashmere PAL TWILL and PAL JERSEY expand the choice of clothing and accessories by Society. Hand and spray-dyed and then garment dyed, these scarves are unique pieces with a vintage look.
